About me

Hallo, my name is Ina Schroders-Zeeders, I am a writer of light fiction, and as English is not my first language,  this blog won’t have brilliant postings, but I do hope you will enjoy.  🙂

In March 2012 my first English poetry book “Veritas” was published by Winter Goose Publishers (see side bar) . They also published the second anthology, titled “Amor” in October 2013.

Hallo mijn naam is Ina, ik schrijf romannetjes voor de kost en probeer ook eens wat in het Engels hier.

My mail adress for those who like to keep in touch 🙂 / Mocht je me willen mailen: I.Schroders@gmail.com

audio post Dutch version 🙂

Maybe we all have a moment in our life
that we want to find again and again.
To be so happy and one with the world or beyond.

For me it was in the small messroom of a ship,
doing my homework,
a bottle of ink, a pen, my notebook, my schoolbook.
Alone in the warm sunlight
and outside the window,
a blue sea. Knowing that this is what happiness is,
and more so.

Thinking of this moment as the best part of life,
I always try to find that moment again. These days,
finding my ancestors and organizing them in lists,
writing poems and walking over the island where I live
comes close. Sometimes I am almost there again.

Ina, I would like to read what you have written. Where can I find it?

    • Hi Ina, SoundEagle is here to greet you. It is amply clear that you are very fond of writing poems on a large array of topics and subject matters with gusto and sensitivity. Well done!

And congratulations to you on being conferred the award for Blog of 2012 the Year! Keep blogging to your satisfaction, Ina. Cheers!

  2. Hi, nice to meet you !

  3. Harry Jones said:

I’m impressed. Why do you waste your time at BAB…those people have little character, or education. Get on more interesting blogs…with other writers and poets…do it for YOU!

    HARRY

  4. Well thank you very much for your concern, Harry. Your other comment will remain in the filter though, as I don’t see what my love life is any concern of yours. 🙂 And no, we are not lovers. 🙂

  5. Know yourself never by thinking… not sure. 🙂
That blogarticle got 609 comments! So must be true then?

  6. Nice to “meet” you, Ina. I think this is a fine blog. Your English is excellent.

  7. Nice to meet you too. 🙂 And feel free to hang out here 🙂

  8. Hi Ina – I’ve been meaning to comment on your work for some time, and finally got round to it today. I love your work and look forward to reading more, so I’ve added you to my blogroll. And your English is excellent – better than many native speakers I could show you!

    • Wow thank you very much! I liked your poem, about the shepard and his dog, too. You will be on my blogroll as well 🙂

Hey there! Thank you for the versitile blogger nomination, and it would be my pleasure to extend the same to you!

  10. English may not be your first language, but I wish I could write with the emotion you convey so easily–and English is my first language.

  11. Your poetry is amazing! The first poetry blog i ran into and i’m loving it. Keep it up! 🙂

  12. Ina which country are you from its for my blogroll

    Ina:
This is a random comment – pertaining to no specific poem. I noticed that you had commented on or liked a few of my poems – the notices appeared on my Email but not in the usual comments section of my ‘blog.’ Don’t know what that means technically, but that is the reason I never responded (thanked you for your interest). To tell the truth, I’ve never quite mastered WordPress and then relatively recently the format changed and I’m completely lost. Too much going on in my life to research the situation and to become a more efficient user.

Thanks for reading and commenting… wish I could be more proactive in response. You seem to like Trimerics and, yes, they are my ‘invented’ form. Did I understand that you’ve done a couple? I’d like to see them if you could point me in the right direction.

  14. Hey Ina!
This is to notify you that I’m sharing your site on my blog. In response to various blogger awards I decided to make my own permanent recognition page for other blogs I love. You are on the list of links. Here is the link: http://fromscott.wordpress.com/favorites/

    • Hi Scott, thank you very much, I appreciate this very much! What a wonderful idea! I will take a look at the other blogs asap! 🙂

  15. hey Ina, I have nominated you for The Versatile Award pls check out my blog for information. Maiya

  16. Just to say I’ve added you to my Blogroll. I always enjoy reading your poems

I’ve been busy (new grandchild, new city, trips around the country, new business), so i just got around to looking at your trimerics. Very good – I especially liked If Only I Could Be Inside Your Thought, but Visiting A Priest gets high acclaim as well. I’ll look forward to seeing more. Have a nice day and happy holidays.

  18. Hi chucky 🙂 I can imagine you are busy. I am a granny now too, since Oct., and there is no greater joy than spending time with my granddaughter 🙂
I am glad you liked the trimerics, and I will do some more! Thank you for your visit, and I hope you will have good holidays too!

  19. Hi Ina, I caught you over at the blog of insidethebirdcage, and thought I would check you out. Your poetry has a simple flow to it that I like very much. I see that you are Dutch. How nice. The Netherlands is my favorite country. Myself and 20 other artists exhibited our work in Deventer Holland back in 1990. I fell in love with hospitality and beauty of all things Dutch. I have a few posting that reflect my experience there. Please stop by my blog, and if you like what you see feel free to subscribe.

    Peace and Light
    Walter

    • Hi Walter, how nice to see you. I am pleased to hear you liked my country 🙂 and I will go to see your blog now 🙂

  20. Ethel and I have nominated you for a Versatile Blogger Award. You’ll have to go to fourwindowspress if you don’t know about it, and if you follow the instructions you’re a winner. We are mainly trying to let you know how much we honor you and your work, so you may or may not chose to accept the award. That’s up to you, but we certainly think you are worthy of more than this one gesture of thanks for you and your poetry.

  21. I’ve really enjoyed your Blog and meeting you throught it this year so I’m stopping by to wish you a very happy Christmas

    • Thank you very much, it was nice to meet you too. 🙂 Merry Christmas ! I hope you will have a good time!

  22. Ina, I just added you to my “Genuine Bloggers Award” nominee list (posted a couple of days ago). Thought I had included you but discovered you were left off – along with several others. Sorry I’m so disorganized – I love your poetry, and you certainly do deserve this award!! (There are no requirements or rules for this award – which makes it a nice, easy one. 🙂 )
    Best regards,
    Betty

  23. Hi Ina,

I just nominated you to receive “The Versatile Blogger Award”

    The Versatile Blogger Award!

  24. Hi Parry thank you very much! 🙂 I am honoured!

  25. Hey Ina, great meeting you. Thank you for visiting me blog, and I’m really enjoying your writing.

  26. Ina, I came browsing your about page since I had some time hanging and how nice English isn’t your first language! I am also a stranger but grown to love the language in all forms. Poetry does away with such consideration of mother tongue and second language. Does it not? Universal language of feeling always wins! Have a nice day.

Hi, Ina. I’m just dropping by to tell you that I’ve nominated you for the Versatile Blogger Award. I see you’ve already received it before, but I really enjoy your blog and wanted to show my respect to your work. Thanks 🙂

    Ina–

Veritas arrived in good shape–thank you very much. The poems are strong, high-dosage stuff. I can’t read more than a couple at a time–it’s like espresso. Reading them is an intense expense, unlike my work. Down deep, I’m very shallow.

    Con

    • lol So down deep you are very shallow 🙂 But on the surface, that sounds deep!

I am glad you enjoy reading. Perhaps in low doses… I don’t want to upset your stomach!

  29. Ina thank you for subscribing, i cannot subscribe as i am already by my other blog, i would get double posts.

  41. MOST INFLUENTIAL BLOG AWARD 2012
Today I want to nominate a few fellow bloggers for the “The Most Influential Blog Award 2012”. On February 8, 2013, my blog foreverpoetic was honored by Sharla at https://catnipoflife.wordpress.com, with the “Most Influential Blog Award 2102. Thank you Sharla for the nomination it was a most wonderful blessing to receive this award from you!

There are no real rules to follow except, within six months you must pass the honor on to the blogs that have influenced you the most, and who are deserving to receive an award which will label them as being one of the Most Influential Blogs of 2012 . Again there are no rules, which is quite a pleasant surprise!

My nominees today have blogs that are read by many fellow bloggers for their gifted talents which they share each day. They have greatly influenced many greatly including myself and I believe they will always continue to do so.
