Flotsam

11juli2014 023

Flotsam, corpses you and me,
drifting elsewhere on slow waves
waiting for the final tide
to make us derelict forever.
Flotsam. Corpses. You and me.
The moon might have been big last night;
I never saw it, face down waiting
for the darkness vanish into light.
Flotsam. Corpses. You and me.

  5. Mistress moon and tide are one and you write our inevitable eulogy on the crests of the eternal waves…
