Till then (small stone)

I watch you watch the clouds go by
and geese going the same speed
I see the longing in your eye.
Will they come back, and will we meet?

  1. Lovely. Sometimes I think shorter poems are better than longer ones, they leave more the imagination.

  2. Speaking as a goose: yes.

  3. May the world greet both you and a flock of geese tomorrow morning, and may you write another poem about the meeting.

  4. For me this is so romantic…both the image and poetry…because of the possibility yet unrealized…just a shadow and a distant figure, the imagination and unlimited reality.
