The poem

The words kept circling,
butterflies of your mind,
lines and stanza’s sent to me.
I tried to touch them,
out of reach they fell down
in front of my feet
in an order I had never
expected truth to be
and for one moment
I understood, I understood!
before the draft
took everything away.

  5. This is lovely Ina!

Like delicate dusky pink rose petals, dried and being pressed forever to keep.

    Love and hugs xx

    • Hi Christine, thank you very much, I like that pink petals image πŸ™‚ Sometimes a poem is just that, or like a see-through vale covering truth, that dissappears, taking the truth with it. The deeper meaning of words. πŸ™‚

  6. I find poetry is a lot like this. A glimpse of clarity in a chaotic world. It all comes together at some point, but if you are not paying attention to that moment it is gone.

  7. Such a poignant take on poetry writing…perhaps any creative writing or endeavor. It is there, such a vision, such a marvelous thought and intent…and then suddenly we have miscarried…we are barren.
