What is between us? Space and time and air,
yet something in your words have moved me so
as if a part of my own mind was there,
it lingers in my thoughts and just won’t go.
These words were undiscovered when I sought
and found by reading what was written then,
it opened up a treasury of thought,
once put on paper by your feathered pen.
And now I’m starting to sort out my mind
in thoughts that you already knew those days,
discovering how much there is to find
and finding new horizons on new ways.
Between us maybe space and time and air,
but thoughts of yours are with me everywhere.
