Your face

I saw your face today
It was within reach
It was real,
not in a dream
or a picture
It was your grandson’s

When you walked
the last time you walked
your shoulders
told me goodbye for ever
and today
you returned
in the face
of my son
He sneezed by the way.

  3. I was just thinking recently, after looking at a picture of my father when he was young, how much he resembled my own son.
