Not ready

I am not ready to make poetry
out of my worst anxiety
as the mess I am at times
is due to not being able to
make head or tail.
Or was this a poem ?

  1. My achings kept me awake all night so I did a lot of thinking and all I could come up with was this lol. pfff… 🙂

  2. You should be able to find a poem called ‘Things’ by Fleur Adcock on the web. She too was kept awake through the night.

    Hugs

  3. This made me smile.

I know what it’s like being awake at night; I am coming off some medication that is causing me to have little and disturbed sleep.

I try not to think of poetry during the night because I won’t remember it in the morning and can’t be bothered to get up to write it down!

    Love and hugs

    • 🙂 Well it wasn’t poetry so much I was thinking, more like my family chronicles and how I see things now, it ended up as the above conclusion 🙂
Yeah, nights with no sleep, I fear them. It is not good for the mind 🙂 I might go nuts lol.

What kept me awake is Fybromyalgia all over plus tenditis in 2 places plus lol arthrose in my thumb. All acting up (out) like madmen at once! I am not sure, but this rain all the time may be causing it? If it gets worse I will get a shot in my thumb again for sure. 🙂 That helped for years! I won’t take painkillers now because they are addictive. But if this keeps on I will. My mother never took painkillers. She said: what comes on its own, will go on its own.” She was sooo wrong.

Medication that keeps you awake, why don’t they invent meds that don’t have that side effect!

Still I was very productive today. If I write, I feel less of my ailment collection I think.

I hope you have a nice day! And give Jack a hug from me too.

      Love and hugs!

  4. Yes this was a poem. I can feel your pain and confusion. Just keep writing and be true to yourself. Nice write.
